Dajia TranslateTerms of Use
This English version is the governing version. If it conflicts with a translation, this version prevails.

1. The service
Dajia Translate (the "Extension") is a browser extension that provides bilingual web page translation, bilingual video subtitles, word highlighting and a word book.
2. Your use
- Please use the Extension only for personal learning and lawful purposes;
- You may not use the Extension to scrape content in bulk, to circumvent access restrictions on other people's websites, or to violate the terms of service of the websites and streaming platforms you visit;
- You are responsible for safeguarding any third-party service keys that you enter yourself, and you bear any charges incurred through their use.
3. Third-party services and content
Translations are provided by third-party services whose availability, accuracy and terms are outside our control. Netflix, YouTube, Disney+, Google, Microsoft, DeepSeek and other names belong to their respective owners, and the Extension is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by them. Translation results are for learning reference only, are not guaranteed to be accurate, and should not be used in legal, medical or other situations that require professional judgment.
4. No warranty and limitation of liability
The Extension is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Extension; some features may stop working temporarily when a platform changes its site or for similar reasons.
5. Accounts and payment
- Signing in is optional. The Pro subscription provides features such as a higher Dajia AI quota, AI subtitle / full-page translation and cloud sync, as described on the purchase page;
- Subscriptions are charged by Paddle (the Merchant of Record) and renew automatically each month or year. Prices exclude local taxes, which are added at checkout according to your region;
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the receipt email Paddle sends you; after cancellation you can keep using Pro until the end of the current period. For refunds, see the Refund Policy;
- We may change our prices, and we will give you advance notice before doing so; the current period of an existing subscription is not affected;
- Dajia AI has a daily quota (fair use), and unusually heavy or automated usage may be restricted;
- You can delete your account at any time in the extension settings;
- We reserve the right to suspend your account if you violate these terms or abuse the service.
6. Changes
We may update these terms. We will notify you of material changes in the extension or on this page. Continuing to use the Extension means you accept the updated terms.
